Longreach’s product family of broadband wireless systems is a response to the ever growing demands for cost effective higher capacity connectivity and more efficient management of increasingly complex networks.

Longreach’s wireless portfolio includes:

• WTX1.25 provides a metro-wireless fibre solution at 70/80GHz, with up-to Gigabit Ethernet capacity and a roadmap to support 10Gbps in 2007. WTX Multipoint is another model in WTX family that offers an affordable, good performance multipoint solution at 10.5GHz frequency range. It is well suited for an ISP to have mass rollout in broadband internet services for enterprise/corporate market.

• UTX5000 provides a point-to-point (UNII/ISM Band) with both TDM services up to 4E1 capacity and 1+1 redundancy, at high aggregate effective throughput of 48Mbps per link. In addition, the system is capable to be configured with space/frequency diversity and external antenna option. With favorable deployment conditions UTX5000 operational range extends over 50km distances.

• IR+ Series  is a next generation of a highly successful IR Series product range. It combines spectral efficiency, hardware efficiency, modularity, flexibility, and upgradeability in a single, compact, system. It represents a rapid and cost effective solution for carriers in both the cellular and fixed operators market, for private networks and enterprises. IR+ Series allows a rapid deployment of wireless PtP link with maximum capacity of 300Mbps within 56MHz channel bandwidth and operating at 1.8/2.2/6/7/8/11/13/15/18/23GHz.

IR+ Series provide numerous interface options, such as FE, E1/T1, E3/T3, STM-1. This innovative family of products presents an easy method of “on the fly” wireless network upgrades in accordance with network expansion requirements. These optimized as-you-grow capacity capabilities of the IR+ Series leverage the operators’ and service providers’ capital and operating expenses.

Upgrading from a lower to a higher capacity is simple with the same IR+ Series IDU, which can host two hot-swappable radio carriers. The IDU supports 1+0, 2+0, 1+1 and 2+2 Hot Standby with space and/or frequency diversity

• IR Series Microwave solution provides a high capacity PtP wireless link system with Quad-Diversity configurations, which are in high demand in certain industries, i.e. Oil-&-Gas and Defense. The system supports 1.8/2.2/6/7/8/11/13/15/18/23GHz and provides 100% modular configuration with hot standby and full-redundancy features, proven in the market for decades.
